STUDIO 8 TEAM

We honor the individual voice of our teachers, each drawing from their own training and traditions to guide students through every class.
Nicolette Reff
Owner, YOGA INSTRUCtor, and human design guide
Nicolette is a mother, teacher, human design guide, and owner of Studio 8. She came back to yoga after her second son, looking for strength and a space to feel like herself again. What began as a personal practice grew into teaching, and eventually leading the studio that helped her return to her body. As the owner of Studio 8, Nicolette envisions the space as more than a yoga studio. It’s a community for self-discovery, creativity, and healing—a place where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow both on and off the mat. She also brings this vision into Nicolette’s Alchemy, her line of handcrafted remedies designed to nurture body, mind, and spirit. A self-study practitioner and current student of the International Human Design School (IHDS), Nicolette weaves her ongoing learning into her work with human design, her teaching, and her creative offerings. She encourages honesty and curiosity, seeing movement, self-study, and ritual as forms of self-inquiry—like painting or writing—a way to connect more deeply with yourself and with the world around you.
Laura Ragusa
YOGA INSTRUCtor
Laura Ragusa is a RYT 500 and E-RYT 200 yoga instructor with over a decade of teaching experience. She first discovered yoga while healing from an injury and found transformation through the discipline of hot yoga. Laura honors the structure and presence at the heart of the practice. Originally from Italy, she brings a grounded, soulful energy to her classes, guiding students to slow down, connect deeply, and carry their practice off the mat. When she's not teaching-Laura reconnects with herself in the natural world- whether hiking mountain trails, camping under the stars, biking through quiet roads, or simply soaking in the ocean's rhythm at the beach.

She believes, "The path to presence isn't always on a mat - it's in the wind, the waves, the stillness between footsteps."
Clarissa Millen
YOGA INSTRUCtor
With a dancer’s poise and a teacher’s heart, Clarissa brings both artistry and warmth to every class she leads. A 200-hour RYT with certifications in Yin and Restorative Yoga and a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance, she draws from her rich background in movement to create experiences that feel tuned in, elevated, and full of grace. Clarissa is the embodiment of rhythm and warmth—those who know her best say she has a good heart, is quietly brilliant, and funnier than she lets on at first. You’ll often find her moving with purpose, recharging by the ocean, or dancing through town with a contagious kind of joy.
Kathleen Hoff
YOGA INSTRUCtor
A 500-hour RYT, firefighter, and Studio 8’s resident anatomy guru, Kat brings knowledge, clarity, and strength to her Movement Lab class - a hot, fun, and explorative space where all bodies are welcome. Those closest to her describe her as conscientious, accepting, and hardworking — and it shows up in everything she does. When she’s not on the mat (or saving lives), you’ll find her playing pickleball, golfing, or walking the trails of First Landing State Park.
Jayanna Ramos
Yoga Instructor
Jayanna is a 200-hour RYT and Reiki practitioner. She teaches Hot Vinyasa with a rooted, loving energy that invites you to show up just as you are. Family and friends describe her as hilarious, supportive and incredibly encouraging and she brings all of that to the mat. Off the mat, she is a passionate mother of 2 who shares a great love for the outdoors & deep connection with all beings.
Meganne Huett
YOGA INSTRUCtor
Meganne’s yoga journey began 15 years ago when she walked into a hot yoga studio—wearing full-on sweats (yes, you can laugh). She had no idea what she was doing, but something shifted that day. From then on, she knew she wanted to share the tools someone had shared with her and help others experience the benefits of yoga. Since then, she has completed her 200-hour Teacher Training, a 100-hour Mindful Yoga Therapy Certification (focused on working with adaptive athletes), and is currently completing her 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training, which she expects to finish in October 2025. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that yoga is for everyBODY. She strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment where each student feels seen, empowered, and at ease in their practice.
Ibby Pack
YOGA INSTRUCtor
A believer, a creator, a dancer, a friend… and a yoga teacher. Native to Virginia Beach, Ibby is an adventurer at heart who loves the outdoors, animals, travel, music, and the arts. Her life experiences fuel her passion for spiritual, physical, and mental wellness. After first dabbling in yoga at home, she stepped into a hot yoga studio later in life and never looked back. Since then, her practice has deepened through many yoga lineages, and her classes focus on linking breath and movement to help students feel refreshed, grounded, and connected. Ibby holds an RYT-200 with emphasis on Hatha-Vinyasa, a 50-hour Five Elements & Yin Yoga Certification, a Pharmacy Technician Certification, and a Bachelor of Science from Radford University. She also works as a Social Media Marketing Manager, Content Creator, and Special Events Coordinator.
Sarah Batory
Yoga Instructor
Sarah is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, sound practitioner, and Reiki Master originally from the Philadelphia suburbs. Guided by intuition, nature, and meaningful connection, she was drawn to yoga for its ability to support both body and mind. Her classes focus on grounded movement and breath, to invite you to slow down, reconnect, and return to what truly matters; your connection to yourself.
Juliebeth
YOGA INSTRUCtor
After being a student of Yoga & Meditation for over 25 years, Julie made the decision to deepen her practice by going through a teacher training.  Juliebeth earned her 200 Hour training through the Integral Yoga Academy at Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville in May 2017.  Julie was first introduced to meditation back in the 70’s.  Still a teenager, and not realizing its full potential to change lives, her practice came and went over many years until she became a Massage Therapist in 1992.   She believes meditation is the most important aspect of Yoga.  For Juliebeth, the love of the postures came much later. “I was a gym rat most of my life. Yoga was a just small part of my workout routine. After a few injuries, all of my running, jumping and pumping came to a quick halt. I have never looked back. Yoga is my peace. I have taught Massage Therapy related classes for the last 17 years. My specialties are anatomy and foot reflexology. Fun is my main goal. My real job is one of inspiring others. I believe that is the job of any teacher."  Julie is a Board Certified Reflexologist & Massage Therapist. She has maintained a private practice for 25 years in the city of Virginia Beach. She enjoys cooking great healthy meals. Gardening is one of her many talents. She also is an avid Soap maker and Kombucha brewer.
